Misty Meadows Farm is a "beyond organic" grass-fed beef and lamb farm located near Rochester, Minnesota that also produces free-range chicken and eggs. We take great pride in offering you meats free of hormones and antibiotics, naturally and humanely raised. We believe God has given us our farm to raise healthy food to share with others. We want to be good stewards of the land and be sustainable in our practices.

For quality grass-fed beef Misty Meadows has selected the Scottish Highland breed of cattle because very little has changed with them since the 1600's. They are very hardy, thrifty, and have an amazing ability to efficiently utilize grass as a forage to produce some of the finest grass-fed beef available. Our cattle are 100% grass-fed and finished, which produces a quality beef with good marbling and little outside back fat. For our grass fed choice of lamb, we have chosen the Katahdin Breed. This hair sheep breed is extremely adaptable to grass as a forage. They produce a lean meat with a very mild flavor. Our Katahdins have blended in very well with our style of grass farming, demonstrating hardiness, good temperment, and lasting longevity. From Rochester, MN going north on Highway 52, go past Oronoco, MN and turn right at 520th Street, which is approximately 1 1/2 miles north of Oronoco on Highway 52. On that corner will be CJ Auto, a used car dealership. On 520th Street, our farm is the 5th place on the left-hand side of the road - approximately 1.6 miles off of Highway 52.
